Reporting to

Head of Global Compensation and Benefits,

an ideal candidate for this position will possess extensive experience in Board and compensation committee preparation as well as in-depth knowledge of various approaches used in executive benchmarking exercises. The successful candidate will work very closely with the

Head of C&B

on recurring compensation committee work, equity dilution management and reviewing the equity incentive program. Although the position is an individual contributor role, and he/she will be given an opportunity to train and supervise 1-2 junior-mid analysts in the team.Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:Collaborate with key internal stakeholders and external independent consultants to develop materials for the Compensation Committee meetings. Conduct and design an annual executive compensation planning cycle.Coordinate preparation of externally reported materials, including compensation-related proxy tables and the CD&A for inclusion in the annual proxy statement.Lead the preparation work for executive compensation analysis, cost modeling and dilution management.Monitor the executive compensation trends in US and Asia markets, staying abreast of applicable legislation requirements.Essential Qualifications

Bachelor degree in HR, Actuarial Science, Finance, Statistics or Psychology.Executive compensation experience in HR consulting and US listed companies.Preferred Qualifications

Experience in governance and disclosure on executive compensation area.Korean language skills are preferred.Post-graduate qualification preferred (Master in Management or Accounting).Pay & Benefits

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. At Coupang, your base pay is one part of your total compensation.The base pay for this position ranges from $153,600/year in our lowest geographic market to $191,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.General Description of All Benefits
