Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty: Respiratory Therapy - Neonatal/Pediatric Critical Care Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years of Neonatal ICU and Pediatric ICU Critical Care experience License: Respiratory Therapist License Certifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Must-Have: - 2 years of experience in Neonatal or Pediatric ICU Critical Care - Ability to independently admit and manage ventilated patients in Pediatric ICU - Familiarity with non-invasive ventilation including the use of BiPAP and CPAP - Proficiency in neonatal care, including attending pre-term deliveries, Bubble CPAP, and using nitric oxide and high-frequency ventilation Job Description: - Manage and operate Servo U ventilator for pediatric patients - Set up and manage heliox therapy through invasive and non-invasive measures - Utilize high-frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV) and high-frequency jet ventilation (HFJV) - Operate various respiratory therapy equipment such as Drager VN500, F&P Bubble CPAP, Vapotherm, and heliox therapy equipment - Use Epic for documentation - Provide critical care for neonatal and pediatric patients within a supportive team environment - Follow hospital and unit-specific policies and guidelines - Maintain a high standard of patient care and experience Join a reputable medical facility known for its comprehensive services and cutting-edge medical technology.
