Our client is an innovative company that is transforming the beauty and personal care landscape and is seeking a driven sales leader to support small to medium-sized brands with a comprehensive suite of services, including design, branding, and manufacturing solutions. This dynamic role is perfect for a passionate individual who thrives in a collaborative environment.Sales DirectorCollaborate with brands with a consultant approach to identify white space and gaps to present customized solutions across multiple categories.Leverage product development, packaging engineering, creative and project managers to bring concepts to life and monitor the progress for a successful end result.Collaborate with the Executive team to shape and implement the sales strategy, developing accurate sales forecasts based on an evolving project pipeline.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic partners, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.Partner with clients to propel projects forward, leading initiatives from concept to completion while expanding the project management team for comprehensive support.Mentor and inspire a growing sales team, helping each member reach their full potential and creating impactful sales plans for year-over-year growth.Identify market opportunities and customer needs, developing presentations to showcase services such as industrial design, branding, packaging, and formula R&D.Continuously assess and refine the sales process to enhance efficiency and drive results.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between sales strategies and business objectives, while seeking opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and long-term partnerships.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, or related field. MBA is a plus.10+ years of experience in sales leadership and management within the beauty and personal care or manufacturing industry.Ability to scale, lead and support a result driven sales team.Ability to manage projects from start to finish.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, products and market dynamics.Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to build and maintain strong relationships, including at the executive level.Effectively collaborated with cross-functional teams and senior executives.Willingness to travel as required.
