Position Overview

A hybrid position based in beautiful downtown Kent, OH, you will provide software development life cycle (SDLC) recommendations, assist with the development of application programming interfaces (APIs), develop and configure tools for data monitoring, as well as perform software and database maintenance as requested.
What you'll do:
Design, implement, and test scripts, ETL workflows, and analytical tools to meet project and client needs.Develop and configure custom integrations, and automate processes with Arcade, Python, SQL, PHP, JSON, and more.Train office and field staff on solutions, provide technical support, and offer guidance to Davey GIS and IT professionals and clients.Attend meetings and conduct performance evaluations of tools and scripts, recommending improvements as needed.Analyze and report on project tasks, including production tracking, alternative solutions, and code modifications.Support the GIS Manager with GIS technologies, staff development, client relations, proposals, scheduling, and project requirements.What you'll need:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in GIS, geography, planning, civil engineering, computer science, or a related field.Minimum 3-5 years of programming experience in the design, implementation, and administration scripts, tools, and interfaces for use with the ESRI product line including ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcSDE, and ArcGIS Desktop/Pro.Preferred three years of experience in the development, implementation and administration of relational database tools and services with a focus on SQL Server.Preferred experience with configuring and managing cloud solutions.Prior experience working on a remote team is preferred.
