Job Description

Pay Range: $38.20 to $47.75 per hourThis role supports and is a key contributor to the operation. The essential functions of the role includes on-going support, enhancement and improvement of new and existing software applications and packaged software, based on business requirements involving the various systems utilized at Foster Farms to support the assigned areas. This includes design, configuration, testing, documenting, training, delivery, and support of software solutions relating to the master data and transactions associated with these processes, and applications, across all Foster Farms locations as well as provide basic support to users including moderate knowledge of the internally and externally developed software components.Will provide primary end user support for the

SAP and other non-SAP systems.Contribute to ongoing system improvement efforts.Additional duties as assigned by the IT Project Lead, Manager, and/or Director.Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

:

Bachelor's degree in Management Information System / Computer Information Systems or related fieldMust be capable of working to a structured work plan with aggressive milestones and have strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making abilityMust be highly goal and results orientedMust be highly self-motivated and driven - must be capable and willing to learn complex systems with minimal supervisionExperience with developing business requirementsExperience learning and documenting complex business processesProject experience is beneficialMust be able to communicate effectively with varying levels of management and team members, both written and verbalThis position will require possession or development of specific skills, knowledge and experience with

SAP and Non-SAP

systems.Preferred Requirements:

Meets minimum requirements and the following:

Master's Degree1-3 years of experience in SAP and Non-SAP systems. Familiarity with business process reengineering, six sigma, lean manufacturing, etc. is strongly desired.Experience learning and documenting complex business processes.Basic understanding of the

SAP

systems' roles and interfaces preferred.Project experience.Understanding of how to interview end users for insight on functionality, problems, or usability issues and needs.Understanding of relational database (e.g. SQL Server and/or Oracle).Understanding of software development lifecycle phases and activities, and project management principles.1 - 2 years of IT experience working in a manufacturing organization for a $1+ billion organizationExposure to Business Systems in SAP/ERP environmentExposure to and familiarity with consumer products industry strongly preferred.Be able to communicate effectively with varying levels of management and team members, both written and verbalAbility to advance within the organization.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The candidate will be a member of the Business Systems Team. This employee will be required to further develop sufficient

SAP

skills in other functional areas to support maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.As the Business Systems Team provides 24X7X365 support to the business, this employee will join the support rotation and will be assigned evening (typically 3 nights per month) and weekend (typically one weekend every 8 weeks) support shifts.
