Desktop Support

We are partnered with a global system integrator and they're looking for multiple Desktop Support Engineers for a Migration project upgrading the Desktop environment from Windows 7 to Windows 11.You will be based on the customer site 5 days a week.Contract details:Location : Boston, MassachusettsDuration : 6 MonthsHourly rate: $25 Per HourKey Responsibilities:Field incoming help requests from end users via both telephone and work orders in a courteous manner.Build rapport and elicit problem details from help desk customers.Prioritize and schedule problems. Escalate problems (when required) to the appropriately experienced technician.Access software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and frequently asked questions resources on the Internet to aid in problem resolution.Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications.Must Haves:Maintenance, analyses, troubleshoots and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.Knowledge & Experience:Knowledge of basic computer hardware.Experience with desktop operating systems including Microsoft, and Mac OS XLenovo LaptopsIf you are interested in this opportunity, we encourage you to apply today!
