Job Description:
First Stop Health is seeking an experienced, innovative and detail-oriented Associate Director of Sales (ADOS) who will be an integral player within the Sales Organization and will have a clear path to career advancement. First Stop Health (FSH) has primarily sold its product through benefits brokers to small-to-mid sized self-funded employers. This role will focus on growing this business channel through the broker community & employer markets.
Reporting directly to the Sales Lead in their respective market, the ADOS role will be tasked to engage in specific, geographic markets, deliver qualified meetings and be expected to craft, maintain and close a sales target pipeline & quota.
The ADOS will have the opportunity to devise strategic plans, conceive and execute projects, conduct and deliver market research, and engage internally and externally. All of this will lead to the goal of opening up new broker offices and developing relationships with key employee benefit decision makers and allow us to continue to drive growth.
As Associate Director of Sales you must be a trustworthy, responsible, hard-working, independent, self-starting, caring, organized, outgoing, strong communicator with the desire to create something new that fits our mission of providing affordable access and care to health care. Furthermore, the ADOS must drive to results with a high level of personal accountability. Finally, this role will require a deep hunger to prove tangible value, a genuine desire to learn, and execute with strong resilience within a role that has clear expectations on activity and performance metrics.
Responsibilities:
Research designated market(s) and identify key decision makers at relevant employee benefit firms.
Network and engage via cold call, email, LinkedIn, marketing emails to contacts with the objective of scheduling meetings.
Act as the ambassador for FSH in your respective region at broker & prospect meetings, conferences, annual meetings, seminars, etc.
Maintain and improve processes by following standards, policies and procedures, as well as recommending new approaches.
Stay informed on related industry trends, news stories and the competitive landscape.
Engage with and open new employee benefits brokerage houses within designated market(s).
Network with and continue to build on existing relationships within designated markets.
Continuously achieve weekly and monthly KPIs set forth by company.
Healthcare/Employee Benefits/Human Resources industry experience preferred, especially in telemedicine, advocacy or wellness.
Requirements:
Preferred 1-2 years of prior sales experience.
Must live in Northern California.
Preferred presentation experience delivering knowledge, product details, sales pitches, etc. to a plethora of audiences in different modalities (virtual, in-person, office style, etc.).
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills through phone, email, Slack channel, etc.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, quantitative and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently in a deadline-oriented environment.
Advanced level computer skills in Microsoft Office.
Travel in region is required and will vary based on geography (at least 25%).
