The specific salary offered will be based on individual qualifications and experiences. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. In this DevOps role, you will have responsibility for creating systems and tools to assist the Software Development Team with building and deploying software, conducting automated testing, and assisting with first-level production support.Role Objectives
Participate in full lifecycle development of software and implement all DevOps procedures to support the CI/CD process.Employ best practices for designing automation processes and utilities that can be easily used by the development teams.Design and develop a best practice release management process.Evaluate and monitor infrastructure resources to guarantee proper operation of the CI/CD pipeline.Partner with the security and infrastructure teams to incorporate corporate standards.Maintain source control management system and integrate it with software build and deployment.Resolve build issues and help coordinate complex software test environments.Triage software issues from the Help Desk and assist with deployment of fixes.Monitor Systems' operational processes, escalating and facilitating failure resolution.Design, execute and monitor automated testing and regression suites.Qualifications and Skills
5+ years of professional experience with the full software development life cycle and CI/CD pipelines.Strong experience with managing and supporting Windows/Linux Servers.Good understanding of deployment of various platforms such as web/REST API, messaging bus/queue, and Microservices.Proficient in containers and orchestration technologies (Docker, K8s, OpenShift).Proficient in at least two of the following: Windows batch/PowerShell, bash, Python, Jenkins/Ansible/Puppet.Experience with Cloud solutions (AWS, Azure).Experience with networking protocols.Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.A curiosity concerning technology and ability to learn new systems quickly.Desired Skills
Experience working with relational databases/SQL and no-SQL.Experience with code-quality tools.Experience with application telemetry and monitoring solutions.Additional Requirements
