You enjoy working with others, are results-driven, and seek various opportunities to develop personally and professionally.The RoleThe Sales Manager is a hotel sales professional, responsible for driving revenue by selling guest rooms, meeting space, and hotel services. This role involves managing key accounts, generating new business, and conducting site inspections. You will prepare and present proposals, maintain detailed documentation, and coordinate customer service needs.Collaborating closely with the sales and catering teams, you will contribute to sales and revenue meetings and assist in key projects for the Director of Group Sales and Director of Commercial Strategy. The Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in building and maintaining relationships to grow our business.Duties also include preparing and presenting effective proposals, maintaining well-organized documentation and reports, utilizing Hyatt systems, and coordinating customer service requirements as appropriate. The Sales Manager will also participate in sales and revenue meetings. The Sales Manager also works as a team member with the sales and catering staff and is in close contact with event managers. The Sales Manager manages key accounts and solicits new business via phone, email, and in-person sales calls.Experience Required:A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environmentRefined verbal and written communication skillsMust be proficient in general computer knowledgeExperience Preferred:A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferredPrefer selling, negotiating, business writing, and presentation skills trainingThe position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all-encompassing.
