We are seeking an Executive Chef to lead kitchen operations with a specialized focus on traditional Korean cuisine, ensuring a safe, clean, and innovative environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a culinary professional with expertise in Korean food to oversee meal preparation and drive operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:Plan and modify menus to feature traditional Korean dishes, ensuring quality through standardized recipes, portion control, and taste tests.Train staff in the specifics of Korean food prep, equipment use, safety, and sanitation while maintaining cleaning and maintenance schedules.Manage inventory to control costs, ensure availability of ingredients specific to Korean cuisine, and oversee the utilization of leftovers per company guidelines.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, participating in audits and reporting.Engage in team meetings, staff development, and professional growth opportunities.Preferred Qualifications:A.S. degree or equivalent experience, with 5+ years of progressive kitchen management focusing on Korean cuisine.Extensive experience in preparing traditional Korean dishes in a high-volume, complex foodservice and catering environment.Strong knowledge of Korean food trends, cost control, sanitation, and presentation.Proficient in Microsoft Office; ServSafe certification preferred.Apply to Compass Group today!Click here to Learn More about the Compass StoryCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
