We are seeking a highly strategic and visionary Senior Vice President, Global Partnerships to lead and expand our global partnership initiatives. This role is crucial in driving the development and execution of partnership strategies, managing processes and governance, and overseeing funds and agency management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, partner management, and negotiations, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional value through innovative and mutually beneficial partnerships. They will oversee teams responsible for transportation partnerships, sports and music partnerships, and the Experiences (Moments) platform, while driving new opportunities in tours and experiences. CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required:
4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Brand Management, Marketing, or related major.
16+ years of relevant professional experience in Brand Marketing or 18+ years in a related function, demonstrating progressive career growth and patterns of exceptional performance.
Proven track record in developing and executing successful partnership strategies that drive business growth and value.
Experience in managing processes and governance to ensure effective partnership operations.
Experience working in a global context, with the ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse market needs and ensure local relevance.

Platform Development:
Experience with the development and evolution of global customer platforms.
Process Experience:
Expertise in the design and development of processes to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Change Management:
Demonstrated ability to inspire teams and effectively execute change within large, matrixed organizations.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Strategy, Process & Governance:
Develop and execute comprehensive global partnership strategies in collaboration with continent counterparts to enhance Marriott’s brand presence and drive revenue.
Establish and maintain robust processes and governance frameworks to enable effective partnership management.
Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, regulations, and standards.
Funds and Agency Management:
Oversee the allocation and management of partnership funds to maximize ROI.
Manage relationships with external agencies to ensure alignment with partnership objectives and brand standards.
Business Development and Partner Management:
Lead business development efforts to identify and secure new partners in key sectors such as transportation, sports, and music.
Manage, nurture, and evolve relationships with existing partners to ensure mutual value and long-term success.
Lead high-stakes negotiations with potential and existing partners to secure favorable terms and agreements.
Partnership Integration and Onboarding:
Oversee the integration and onboarding of new partners, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment with Marriott’s brand and operational standards.
Oversee the development, implementation, and enhancements onboarding processes to facilitate smooth and timely transitions and successful partnerships.
Experiences (Moments) Platform:
Drive the expansion and enhancement of the Experiences (Moments) platform, creating unique and memorable experiences for Bonvoy members.
Collaborate with continent teams to source and curate exclusive experiences that align with member interests and preferences.
Utilize member feedback and data analytics to continuously improve and personalize the Experiences (Moments) offerings, ensuring high member satisfaction and engagement.
The salary range for this position is $281,265 to $380,535 annually. Marriott offers a bonus program, comprehensive health care benefits, 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match, employee stock purchase plan at 15% discount, accrued paid time off (including sick leave where applicable), life insurance, group disability insurance, travel discounts, adoption assistance, paid parental leave, health savings account (except for positions based out of or performed in Hawaii), flexible spending accounts, tuition assistance, pre-tax commuter benefits, other life and work wellness benefits, and may include other incentives such as stock awards and deferred compensation plans. Benefits and incentive compensation may be subject to generally applicable eligibility, waiting period, contribution, and other requirements and conditions.
