The scope of the applications will vary in size and complexity from department level to enterprise wide and may be internally focused within Andersen Corporation or externally focused to support a variety of customer channels.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESIndependently working closely with business customers to understand, define and document business requirements, functional requirements and design requirements for medium to high complexity assignments.Consult with Product Owners, Account Managers and IT Architects in the design phase of medium to high complexity projects to leverage technology and provide implementation recommendations and accurate estimates to support business process improvementsResponsible for the design, development, testing, deployment and documentation of medium to high complexity assignmentsCoordinate and assist with the deployment of applications into the production environmentCompletes comprehensive unit, system and performance testing of application that includes its components and interfaces. Assists less experience Software Engineers in the test plan development, execution and validationParticipate in the definition and adherence to design, development and testing methods and techniques that meet corporate IT standards.Independently estimate the design, development, testing and deployment of medium to high complexity assignments and meet the estimated time for delivery.Develop and maintain relationships with business customers, project leaders and architectsQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related disciplineMinimum of 3 years of development experience with a variety of leading-edge development languages and platformsRPG/RPGLERPG FreeiSeries, OS400 Operations/CLStrong working knowledge of business systems and processesExcellent communication skillsAbility to effectively organize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously3 day in office required, more as projects or responsibility dictatesNICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONSBPCSQuery 400/DBUEDIVoice picking software support.Microsoft SQL/.NETPower BITravel is infrequent but may be required.CULTURE AND BENEFITS:"Be Orange.
