We believe great companies are built from exceptional people and amazing clients.ResponsibilitiesThe BIM consultant should have strong BIM technical expertise to support clients on best practices for integrating BIM data into GIS enterprise platform solutions. This position would review BIM data delivered by other consultants and check and review the data to ensure it conforms to the client’s BIM standards. Additionally, this BIM consultant could assist in the export, transform and load (ETL) processes of transferring data between GIS, CAD, BIM and other platforms. This position is an on-site position in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and will be required to report to the Broward County Aviation Department (BCAD) office at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.Responsibilities:Assist with the extraction and conversion of data between BIM, CAD, GIS and other platformsAssist with converting existing BIM models to match BIM standardsHave a strong technical background which can assist in the design, analysis and modification of BIM data with minimal supervisionAssist in developing BIM Execution Plans for new projectsQuality assurance on BIM model deliverables including clash detectionCollaborate closely with client staff to deliver BIM data and solutionsWork with staff to ensure successful project delivery, consistent quality, customer satisfactionUnderstanding of GIS technology for BIM data integration purposes. Assist in the development of new applications, workflows, data standards, and solutions for internal and external clientsProvide quality reviews of project documentation including work plans through final deliverablesAssist the client in data maintenance procedures and processesStay up on the technology and help develop a team that can meet our clients’ needsQualificationsExcellent communication skills, systems troubleshooting, fault isolation/diagnosis and the ability to read, comprehend and follow technical data.Bachelors Degree in a related field and a minimum of 2+ years’ of related work experience OR Associates Degree and 5+ years’ of related work experienceAutodesk Revit Architecture Certified Professional certification is a plus.Experience with Autodesk Software – REVIT, AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD Map 3D. Autodesk Construction Cloud, NavisworksExperience with ESRI Software is strongly desired but not requiredExperience with Safe Software’s FME is strongly desired but not required.Experience in aviation projects is desired but not required.Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environmentQuickly adapt and respond to industry changes as well as internal initiativesPresenting Opportunities and Challenges at Every Turn...
