Responsibilities
Ground Systems Engineer
to support a Program Office. This program office procures satellite ground components to include RF antenna. The ground consists of ground command and control software, hardware, data processing and communications networks.
In this role, you will perform the following:
Provide direct support for program acquisitions and O&M contract.Provide primary support to the development branch and the procurement of ground RF hardware and antenna systems.Leverage understanding of full life cycle system support from procurement to O&M, including requirements analysis, requirements tracking, system design and development through system test, delivery, installation, and sell-off.Provide oversight and guidance in system development, testing, analysis, and requirements verification related to the procurement of these ground RF and antenna subsystem.Oversee inventory of units, sparing, preparing units for shipment/deployment, and software updatesSupport development and delivery of for data delivery, quarry, and analysis toolsCoordinate with Network team to establish and maintain communication lines to ground sites
QualificationsMinimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhDActive TS/SCI with Poly clearanceFamiliarity with space systems ground acquisitions and related Operations & Maintenance (O&M) of those systems and their ground sitesFamiliarity of ground command and control (C2) software and hardwareFamiliarity in RF signal processing to include radar and radiation detection equipment

Target Salary Range
