The successful candidate will be responsible for the active management of a portfolio that includes full-service, select-service, and luxury hotels. This role involves reviewing and providing input on operating and capital plans, interacting with hotel teams to assess performance, and analyzing financial data to identify opportunities. The VP will also be involved in negotiating key legal documents, performing asset valuations, and preparing hold/sell analyses. A key aspect of the position is to stay abreast of industry trends and to undertake additional tasks as necessary to maximize the value of the hotel portfolio for clients. Applicants for the Vice President of Asset Management position should have a minimum of 6 years' of experience in the hospitality industry, specifically in operations and hotel real estate asset management. A BA/BS degree in business finance, hospitality, or real estate finance is required. The role demands a candidate with a strong background in hotel finance or revenue management, experience in hotel operations, and a proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, quantitative, and negotiation skills, and be detail-oriented with the ability to work independently. Fluency in English and Spanish is highly desirable, and a background in hotel finance or revenue management is a plus.
