Java Developer

to be responsible for analyzing and resolving multiple problems or events of medium complexity in support of CAI customers. This position will be

remote.

What You'll Need

Required:

8 years hands-on strong experience in Java development, including extensive experience with J2EE, Servlet and related technologies

8 years hands-on strong development experience in implementing applications utilizing any J2EE Application Server, Java security authentication and authorization of service and user accounts

Proficient in using Servlets, Spring and Spring Batch for web application development.

8 years' experience in ad hoc data analysis and reporting

4 years hands-on strong experience in building and consuming Web Services (SOAP/REST)

4 years hands-on experience with CI/CD, GitLab, Maven & Jenkins

4 years hands-on experience in Full Stack Development and working with front-end technologies such as JavaScript and JSF and Prime Faces 7.0

4 years hands-on experience in design and development of XSD and schematron data validation rules

4 years hands-on experience in at least one application server configurations (WildFly, Tomcat or WebLogic)

4 years of expert level understanding of Mongo DB and Postgres databases, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, aggregate operations and performance tuning

4 years experience in designing & optimizing database queries and procedures in Postgres and Mongo DB

Preferred:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Familiarity with Azure App Services & Cloud Services

Familiarity with healthcare or State Department applications is a plus

Physical Demands

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
