The US Vaccines team is seeking a VP, US Marketing, Vaccines Adult Portfolio. The successful candidate will have a proven record of US marketing strategy development and execution, people leadership and commercial goal attainment. This is a highly visible and strategically important role for GSK. We are looking for an inspiring commercial leader and highly experienced marketer who can lead the way!
The VP, US Marketing, Vaccines Adult Portfolio will lead the US marketing strategy and execution for GSK's Adult Portfolio vaccines, focusing on driving growth for the immunization rates for Shingles, RSV, Flu, and other adult vaccines. This role is strategic and highly visible, with significant responsibility for the US market valued over $4B.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate across a matrix team, including global commercial partners.
Oversee creation and implementation of strategic and operating plans.
Ensure strategic alignment across functional stakeholder groups.
Provide clarity on specific accountabilities to team members.
Lead external partners, including the agency of record.
Manage product lifecycles and achieve short- and long-range forecasts.
P&L ownership for the adult portfolio.
Ensure reliable supply.
Define metrics and assess brand performance.
Lead and develop a high-performing team of marketing directors, managers, and associates.
Maintain a detailed understanding of disease and competitive marketplace.
Define customer insights, journeys, segmentation, product positioning, creative strategy, core messaging, and content plans.
Foster an environment of innovation, inclusion, challenge, trust, and development.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree.
8+ years of commercial experience, including marketing, sales, and/or market access, with a minimum of 4 years in marketing.
Experience in US healthcare brand marketing.
Direct people management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
6+ years of marketing experience.
Experience in brand lifecycle management, senior leader engagement, matrix team leadership, category/disease and product strategy development, customer insight, messaging, campaign, creative development, agency management, and budget management (P&L ownership).
Direct market access experience, specifically contract strategies across trade channels.
Vaccines experience strongly preferred.
Understanding of channels, pricing, and market access strategies.
Ability to analyze market and brand opportunities and develop actionable insights.
Recognizes trade-offs and prioritizes short/long-term needs.
Demonstrates a sense of ownership for the shared success of the team and asset.
Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, competitive environment and drives a culture of trust, respect, transparency, and accountability.
