The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the product strategy, including the expansion into new global markets and verticals, and will play a pivotal role in the company's mission to create a more accessible, inclusive, and successful creator economy. This executive-level position demands a dynamic leader with a proven track record in launching consumer-facing brands or moving successful products into new categories or regions, particularly within a B2C marketplace environment. The VP of Product will be expected to have a strong process, be data-driven, and possess the technical acumen to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities for the VP of Product include leading a team of product managers and designers, driving product penetration in new markets, and working closely with executive stakeholders to plan and execute the product roadmap. The role requires an individual with exceptional leadership skills, the ability to manage a remote team, and a deep understanding of product development methodologies. The ideal candidate will be adept at using both qualitative and quantitative research methods to support product decisions, have advanced communication skills, and excellent stakeholder management abilities. Experience with web products and technologies is essential, and SAAS experience is a bonus.
