Software Engineer Level 3

What you will be doing:The Software Engineer shall be responsible for installing, configuring, and optimizing COTS/GOTS/FOSS software, libraries, and packages for a large HPC Linux computing environment. Additional tasking shall include software development and support of a Data Storage solution for the HPC organization.What you will need:Experience using the Linux CLIExperience developing and maintaining scripts using Bash/PythonExperience developing with Python and Java in a Linux environmentGeneral HPC technical knowledge regarding compute, network, memory, and storage system componentsExperience installing, configuring, and supporting COTS/GOTS/FOSS software, libraries, and packages in a Linux environmentExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containerdExperience with container orchestration technologies such as KubernetesExperience administering Kubernetes clusters on bare metal in a Linux environmentExperience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) concepts, principles and automation tools such as Ansible and TerraformExperience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CIExperience using system monitoring tools such as Grafana/PrometheusExperience with Git Version Control SystemDesired Skills:Familiar with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and applicationsExperience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)Qualifications:

Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.ORBachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.ORNine (9) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.Clearance:Active TS/SCI with an appropriate polygraph is required to be considered for this role.Salary range:$106,250.00 - $209,657.00 (Annually)*
