Machine Learning Engineer (Graduate Position)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Machine Learning graduate to join a team of experts responsible for applying the latest advancements in machine learning by developing neural networks, training them on our proprietary data, and evaluating their effectiveness. The goal is to identify which recent ML techniques deliver the highest performance and efficiency. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates who have a strong foundation in machine learning, data science, or related fields and are excited to work on developing, optimizing, and deploying machine learning models.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, train, and validate machine learning models for various applications.
Stay updated on the latest developments in machine learning and communicate these developments to the rest of the team.
Implement current advances in ML and best practices by constructing, training, and evaluating SOTA NN models.
Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and data collection team to direct data collection and ensure quality.
Conduct data preprocessing and exploratory data analysis to support model development.
Document model architecture, processes, and results to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing.
Analyze and preprocess large datasets to ensure quality and suitability for model training.
Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and fine-tune models for optimal accuracy.
Requirements:
M.Sc. in computer science with a thesis in fields of AI / ML / Data science and equivalents - a must
Experience with ML libraries, such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX
Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and deep learning techniques.
Strong communication skills, excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Research experience in ML, ability to discuss and show previous ML projects/publications.
Candidates must have permanent US Work authorization (no visa sponsorship by Q).
This is a full-time, on-site position in Boston.
