Equifax is seeking a motivated and experienced Director to join our dynamic and highly active Corporate Development team. Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Development, the Director plays a critical role in driving the company’s growth through mergers and acquisitions.Equifax’s M&A program is a core pillar of our growth strategy, helping us expand our capabilities, enter new markets, and enhance our data and analytics offerings to better serve our clients. Our Corporate Development team drives strategy and execution for our M&A program, and focuses on identifying, acquiring and integrating strategic companies in areas such as data, analytics and technology. Joining Equifax’s Corporate Development team provides a unique opportunity to play a vital role in shaping the company’s future through impactful acquisitions.This position works from our state-of-the-art global headquarters in Midtown Atlanta with the flexibility to work remotely two days per week.
(This is NOT a fully-remote role.)What You’ll Do
:
Deal execution and Project Management: Support the full lifecycle of M&A transactions, including sourcing, due diligence, valuation, financial modeling, deal structuring and integration planning.Financial Analysis and Modeling: Conduct financial analyses to evaluate acquisition targets, investments, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions. Provide insights and recommendations based on valuation, ROI, and other metrics to inform strategic decisions.Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Conduct industry, market, and competitive research to identify trends, assess potential opportunities, and evaluate risks. Deliver insights that support Equifax’s strategic planning and decision making.Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with finance, technology, operations, legal, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of deals and integration processes. Facilitate collaboration with internal teams to align on deal objectives, understand potential risks, and achieve desired outcomes.Presentation Development: Develop presentations and reports for senior leadership and the Board of Directors, summarizing transaction details, financial analyses, and strategic recommendations.Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with potential acquisition targets, investment banks, legal advisors, and other relevant partners. Represent Equifax professionally and foster positive relationships with external parties.Travel: Travel domestically and/or internationally up to 10% of time annually, potentially on short notice for M&A activities.What You'll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field (MBA or other advanced degree is a plus).3-5 years of relevant experience in areas such as corporate development, investment banking, private equity, management consulting, venture capital, etc.Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of valuation methodologies and M&A processes.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for senior leadership.Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.What Could Set You Apart

Prior experience working in both corporate development and investment banking environments.Prior deal experience working on several closed transactions.
