As the Business Intelligence Engineer for the Operations Program Management team you will develop and implement ideas that drive continuous improvement and streamline production of our satellite technology.Key job responsibilities

Work closely with multiple production teams to understand their challenges and provide data/analysis for better decision making. This will require data gathering and manipulation, synthesis and modeling, problem solving, and communication of insights and recommendations.Learn and understand a broad range of Kuiper’s data resources and know how, when, and which to use.Assist in the development of key metrics and performance indicators to measure overall performance and provide foundation for continuous improvement.Build self-service reporting platforms, establishing automated processes for large scale data analysis.Understand and write high quality queries to retrieve and analyze data (ongoing reporting and adhoc requests).Define analytical approaches and metrics strategy to uncover new insights and formulate recommendations that improve productivity.Manage the local data infrastructure, and develop scalable solutions for data storage.Simplify and automate reporting solutions.Export Control Requirement:Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.A day in the lifeThis role will be highly collaborative, requiring partnerships with cross-functional leaders to drive positive results. 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experienceKnowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts3+ years experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools3+ years experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines3+ years experience writing complex SQL queries3+ years experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab3+ years experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modelingPREFEROWANE KWALIFIKACJE

The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
