A dynamic law firm located in Los Angeles is seeking a talented and motivated Litigation Counsel to handle a broad spectrum of commercial, regulatory, and employment matters. This is a full-time, hybrid position offering a unique opportunity to provide legal guidance for a rapidly growing business environment. The successful candidate will manage complex litigation and provide proactive legal counsel across various sectors, including agriculture, food, beverage, and employment law.Duties
Independently manage and litigate a wide range of commercial, regulatory, and employment matters.Conduct thorough legal research and draft briefs, motions, and other legal documents.Handle discovery tasks, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.Take and defend depositions, negotiate settlements, and mediate disputes.Represent clients in arbitration and trial settings, acting as first or second chair.Advise clients on tort, contract, intellectual property, and employment-related issues.Provide proactive legal counsel to clients, offering innovative solutions to business challenges.Requirements
3-6 years of litigation experience in a reputable law firm.Proven ability to manage complex cases with minimal supervision.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Member in good standing of the California State Bar.Fluent in Spanish is a plus, but not required.Education
J.D. from an accredited law school.Certifications
An active member of the California State Bar.Skills
Expertise in commercial litigation, employment law, and regulatory matters.Proficiency in drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and presenting legal arguments.Ability to manage competing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships.Job Location
