As a Senior Staff Engineer in the ECS team, reporting to the Sr. Software Development Manager, you'll collaborate with engineers across multiple disciplines and Business and UX to deliver new functionalities in the membership experience for our D2C website.ResponsibilitiesYou will use industry-leading web frameworks and technologies in a micro-frontend solutionPrototype, develop, test, and integrate the best responsive web componentsYou can offer insights and analysis on an existing codebasePeer review code with other engineers to ensure software engineering best practicesIntegrate with RESTful web services in the AWS cloud from multi-tiered web applicationsImprove existing code with engineering best practicesDevelop reusable patterns and encourage innovation to improve team velocityParticipate in the full SDLC/Agile cycle engagements, including meetings, iterative development, estimations, and design sessionsQualifications
8+ years of experience building responsive single-page web applications using Angular or React/ReduxMust have experience using each of Angular (2+), React (with hooks), and TypeScript3+ years experience with GraphQL & Apollo3+ years experience in NodeJSUnderstanding of functional programmingYou have experience with unit testing using Jest & Playwright or similar libraries, along with E2E testingExperience building software that accounts for security, accessibility, and performanceExperience implementing Cloud/Hybrid Cloud AWS solutionsYou have worked with Git SCM command line and toolsExperience with Agile MethodologiesBonus SkillsDesign, develop, and deploy robust microservices using Java, Python, or .NETImplement GraphQL APIs for seamless data retrieval and manipulationUtilize AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, etc.) to build scalable and reliable applicationsCollaboration in open-source communitiesExperience with node development workflows (webpack, npm, etc.)Experience with data visualization APIs and JSON (chart.js, D3, etc.)Previous Mobile (web and/or native) development experienceAdditional Information
