ITAR Compliance Manager

to join our team in the

DMV area.

We have opportunities in the

Washington, DC area

as well as

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provides expertise and guidance in all areas related to compliance with Department of State regulations governing the manufacture, export, and temporary import of defense articles and services Consult on the management of international supply and export orders to ensure compliance with ITAR requirements Advising on the proper flagging and tracking of ITAR items in shipping paperwork Ensure that tools and training materials for operational processes related to logistics and export activities are updated and aligned with regulatory compliance Provide advice on license applications and navigate export filings with carriers while ensuring adherence to ITAR regulations Supervising and mentoring subordinate project staff members. Receive direction from the Business Operations Director IV Basic Qualifications: Seven or more (7+) years of related experience If a candidate does not have a degree at all, four (4) additional years of experience are required If a candidate holds an Associates degree rather than a Bachelors degree, two (2) additional years of experience are required Clearance Requirements: This position requires an active

Top Secret clearance Physical Requirements: Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
