Your roleSell fragrances to the major accounts assigned to maximize Symrise's potential with the clients through the utilization of the resources of the Symrise company worldwide.

Generate new brief opportunities by assigned accounts, and new accounts for their new or revised products.

Develop new business opportunities identified by Symrise North America leadership team.

Build strong personal relationships with the account personnel responsible for issuing the briefs as well as the decision-making personnel responsible for the fragrance selections, and core lists.

Manage assigned accounts by utilizing the technical, creative, and international resources of Symrise to enhance its reputation with the customer.

Report to management the significant developments at, and the organizational changes within, the major client accounts and the competition.

Stay abreast in the industry, fragrance and new product developments in order to create a competitive sales edge.

About you

College degree required (years of experience may be considered in lieu of education).

5+ years of previous sales experience.

Strong business and financial understanding.

Excellent interpersonal skills to work with both internal colleagues and external customers.

Must be adept at building relationships at client accounts with the fragrance decision-makers in the Purchasing, Research & Development, Marketing and Management departments.
