Cardiopulmonary Executive Specialty Sales Consultant (Miami, FL)
The Executive Specialty Sales Consultant role is designed for a top performing Pharmaceutical Sales Professional who possesses the skills, experience, relationships, and clinical acumen within the Cardiology / Rare Disease space. This position will target, develop, assess, and maintain a thorough understanding of customers, stakeholders, marketplace dynamics and competitive landscape. As an Executive Specialty Sales Consultant, you will be expected to develop long-standing business relationships with key customers and build in-depth knowledge of the key drivers, influences, and prescribing patterns in the assigned territory. More specifically, this role must understand the unique needs of rare disease markets and customers while providing quality consultative information. This role will ultimately sell, coordinate and promote complex products and services; the role will also service key accounts, develop prospects, and coordinate sales and marketing programs.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Cardiopulmonary Executive Specialty Sales Consultant (Miami, FL), are to:
Successfully build positive relationships with established key decision makers and impact penetration into underdeveloped markets subsequently, driving depth and growth within existing accounts and growing breadth of new providers;
Create territory sales plans including goals and resource allocation (coverage, tactics, support) for key customers;
Gain account formulary acceptance, understand specialty pharmacy distribution model and product stocking where applicable;
Develop a deep scientific understanding of clinical papers and competitive environment;
Team with customers as a partner; proactive in seeking out potential patients and helping with the pull-through efforts to get patients on therapy;
Market & sell Bayer products in a compliant manner;
Stay up to date with administrative tasks, submittal of timely expense reports, maintain product certifications and stay current on product/clinical information;
Must follow Bayer and pharmaceutical compliance code;
A high degree of accountability, a self-starter who will consistently meet or exceed established sales targets;
The primary location for this role is Residence-Based in the US. This role will cover the Miami, FL territory. Candidates must reside in the Miami, FL area or within reasonable commuting distance of the area.
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree;
Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical selling or other relevant sales experience;
Strong background and relevant experience promoting products in the Cardiovascular therapeutic area;
Proven experience in driving sales within defined customer segmentation and territories;
Excellent consultative selling skills, customer service behaviors and excellent written & oral communication skills;
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required. Ability to travel as necessary or required, which may include overnight and/or weekend travel;
Ability to comply with any customer credentialing and safety requirements (eg, up-to-date vaccinations, trainings).
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Business or a Clinical discipline;
Relevant experience in promotion of products in the Hospital, Heart Failure and/or Rare Disease therapeutic area.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $129,196 to $193,795. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
