is looking for a
Senior EHS Consultant
to join our dynamic EHS + Air practice within the Environment Business Line in Houston, Texas. Our team provides innovative solutions to help a diverse range of federal, state/local, and private clients navigate EHS regulations and achieve sustainable compliance solutions.
We are seeking an industry leader who can help us drive long-term, sustainable growth of our EHS + Air practice by delivering high-quality EHS technical services, mentoring our team of professionals, and advancing our client relationships.
The Senior EHS Consultant will play a key seller-doer role in capturing, managing, and executing EHS compliance projects at global, national, and local levels, with a strong focus on expanding our EHS portfolio among Texas-based clients. This role will also involve supporting client relationship development and helping drive strategic initiatives to enhance our service offerings.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience and be responsible for the following:
Providing technical support to clients on EHS regulations (CWA, RCRA, CAA, OSHA, etc.), compliance requirements and best practices tailored to their specific industries.
Leading and managing comprehensive EHS audits and assessments at client facilities to identify compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
Managing multiple client projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of services and adherence to client expectations, from proposal through execution to closure.
Mentoring junior EHS consultants to help foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored EHS compliance solutions.
Identifying and pursuing business opportunities, leading proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
Balancing project management / technical and business development work, ensuring effective sales and utilization.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, safety, or related discipline.
8+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education in EHS compliance consulting or a similar role.
This role requires some travel to client sites, which may include both local and national locations. Candidates should be prepared for travel up to 30% of the time, depending on project needs.
Valid U.S Driver's license is required for this role.
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education in EHS compliance consulting.
Prior consulting experience working with CAA, CWA, RCRA, and other environmental regulations.
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPEA, CIH, CSP).
ISO 14001 experience.
Experience with health & safety regulatory compliance.
Deep understanding of EHS regulations and industry standards.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.
Additional Information
Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required.
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $120,000.00 - $145,000.00.
