The Opportunity:To achieve an organization's mission, leaders need strong team members who can plan and execute events,create processes, communicate requirements, and develop innovative meeting planning solutions throughout the execution of the mission. Whether exploring vendors, securing event locations, providing scheduling and logistics support, recommending a solution, or flexing to support an emerging requirement, our clients need a consultant who can help manage operations while also executing both internal and external events within in a timely manner. That's why we need you, an experienced Meeting and Events Planner who can support the coordination and logistics for numerous meetings and events, communicate with internal and external stakeholders, support personnel and administrative workflows, and provide high-quality support.As part of our team, you'll serve as a strategic technical consultant to the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), helping conceptualize, create, and execute advanced government-funded research and development programs to accelerate better health outcomes for everyone. You'll work with world-class scientists and engineers to support the development of high-impact solutions to society's most challenging health problems. You'll leverage technical expertise to provide strategic assessments of new technologies in support to senior ARPA-H decision-makers. You'll maintain responsibility for producing and presenting findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients on the feasibility and potential impact of future research programs, assisting with the management of current programs, and facilitating commercialization of successfully developed technologies.You'll serve as a Meeting and Events Planner, helping clients to plan and execute events, stakeholder management strategies, establish new business processes, and complete research and analysis to determine viable solutions. You will be responsible for managing incoming requirements, facilitating engagements within and across the Agency, and be readily available to shift your focus to fulfill emerging client requests. Your attention to detail, flexibility, communication skills, understanding of the client's mission, and problem-solving skills will enable the mission's success.What You'll Work On :Plan both internal and external meetings to support the advancement of the ARPA-H mission.
Research event venues, locations, and vendors for numerous meetings and events.
Support administration and coordination of collaborative meetings.
Provide scheduling and logistics support for the executive team in relation to upcoming events.
Develop effective written communication across internal and external stakeholders.
Manage administrative workflows for personnel and the executive team.
Organize logistics, scheduling, and coordination for public events with multiple organizations.

Experience researching and negotiating venues and vendors for internal and external meetings
Experience providing administrative leadership support
Experience with coordination and logistics for public events such as conferences, announcements, or meetings
Experience interacting and communicating with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to travel domestically for events up to 50% of the time
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:Experience with event planning for the U.S. government
Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
Ability to manage multiple short- and long-term projects effectively
Ability to pay strict attention to details and diligent adherence to deadlines and deliverables
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
