The Avanti Company is a Manufacturer Agent and Distributor of Flow Meters and Metering Systems to the Water, Wastewater, Agricultural, Petroleum and Industrial markets. Avanti is a family owned Company that was founded in 1977 in Avon Park Florida and covers the States of Florida, Georgia and Alabama.
Role Description
Avanti is seeking a disciplined, self starter with technical aptitude for Fluid Mechanics and a professional sales capability that complements our consultative selling approach to the market. The successful candidate must manage a territory covering North Florida, South Georgia, and South Alabama, with a diverse and broad customer base. This is a Territory sales position that requires a commitment to be on the road several nights a week and visit all the potential customers in the markets Avanti covers. Company vehicle will be provided. The Territory Manager will be offering flow meter application advice to customers and selling products that solve their metering needs. Professional presentations to Engineers, Utilities and Industry will also be a requirement of the position. The position reports to the Vice President/Sales and reporting of sales visits and potential opportunities will also be required. Complete product and sales training will be provided by the Company. Two to three years of industry sales experience required. B.A. or B.S. degree preferred.
