Key Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms.Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors.Analyze market trends and pricing to optimize purchasing decisions.Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.Collaborate with project managers to forecast material needs and budget considerations.Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely deliveries to job sites.Maintain accurate records of purchases and supplier performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.Minimum of three years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the construction or multifamily development industry.Strong negotiation skills and a keen understanding of procurement processes.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
