We are seeking an experienced CDL dump truck for our Paving Division in the Kansas City area.
Responsibilities
Safely drives dump truck to destinations applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and of roads in the area to deliver rock and/or asphalt to our project sites and crews.Ability to load and haul equipment on TAG tri-axle trailers behind dump trucks. Equipment might typically include pavers and skid-steers.Make daily pre/post-trip inspections on assigned vehicles and trailers to maintain maximum vehicle safety conditions and to check for any damaged or non-working parts.Maintains a truck log following state and federal regulations and company policy.Communicate regularly with the operations manager to ensure that the delivery schedule is being followed and that any problems with traffic or with site conditions are reported promptly.Complies with all aspects of truck maintenance, cleanliness, and repair per the guidelines specified by company policy.Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned.Qualifications include but are NOT limited to:
A Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with a clean driving history is required.Must be physically able to operate, move about, and maintain a dump truck.Must pass or have recently passed DOT physical.Willingness to learn and adapt to change.
