The Physiatrist will be responsible forConducting comprehensive assessments of patients to understand their medical history, current condition, and functional limitationsDeveloping individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goalsPrescribing and overseeing various forms of rehabilitation therapy, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapyRecommending and performing various medical procedures, such as trigger point injections, soft tissue, and joint injections to treat pain and improve physical functioningEngage in research to advance the field's understanding of rehabilitation techniques, interventional procedures, and outcomes for patients with disabilities or chronic conditionsPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:Licensed to practice Medicine in New YorkDoctor of Medicine (MD) or a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree3+ years internship/residency trainingBoard Eligible / Certified in Physical medicine and Rehabilitation or Neurology
