BLS ACLS NIH Stroke Scale Job Details
Will work 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 holidays per unit requirements. 13 Weeks. 36hrs / week. Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (SAT/SUN). May float between MS/Tele units, MS/Neuro, MS/Oncology, MS/Orthopedic and Observation units, as needed. Patient Ratio: 1:6. 2+ years experience required. 18 beds on the unit. Patient mix on unit: Medical conditions including, CHF, pneumonia, diabetes, and cardiac issues. Occasional post-surgical patients could be admitted to this unit. Knowledge of chest tubes, surgical drains, oxygen therapy, IV therapy, blood glucose monitoring, and telemetry monitoring are highly recommended. General knowledge of chest tubes, surgical drains, oxygen therapy, and patient mobility equipment such as hoyer lifts and ambulation aids required. Navy blue scrubs. EPIC Charting.
