QUALIFIED
for this position, we require a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting and 7+ years of relevant experience in FP&A and/or financial reporting, preferably working with small to mid-size multi-location companies.The Director of FP&A will be a key team member within the Finance and Accounting organization and report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. This role will lead efforts in partnership with the business to drive the financial analysis and forecasting. The FP&A Director will be responsible for monthly and quarterly financial reporting, budgeting, analytics, and lender reporting.
Required Shift:
Monday – Friday, hybrid schedule: 3+ days on-site in our corporate Downtown, Chicago office located at 120 S. LaSalle St. Chicago, IL 60603
Compensation:

(90 minutes)Virtual interview with Chief Executive Officer (30 minutes)OfferMain Job Responsibilities:Lead the development of an FP&A team at Premier. Act as mentor to FP&A Manager and Analyst, utilizing career experience and ideas to build a team that is an asset to Premier. This also includes hiring and developing new analysis positions.Gain deep understanding of company and business drivers. Demonstrate the ability to leverage this understanding to create meaningful and insightful reporting.Lead the annual budget: develop budget timeline, policies, and procedures; determine budget drivers and performance goals; utilize budgeting templates and tools to develop initial budget; work interactively with operations to finalize budget; prepare summary reports and communicate to executive leadership team.Work closely with Operations team to develop and distribute operational reports focused on managing expenses and hitting budget targets.Expand capabilities and usage of Business Intelligence Tool (Power BI) and Dashboard reports.Lead team in leveraging existing reporting structure to efficiently and effectively communicate financial results to executive leadership and private equity partner.Preparation and review of monthly financial reporting package: Includes extracting and aggregating financial data; preparing summary spreadsheets, graphs and tables; evaluating performance metrics; highlighting notable issues and trends; and developing meaningful and insightful commentary.Analyze and develop insights related to key drivers of revenue and cost of revenue across our platform to guide decision making and forecasting.Lead on-going assessment of pricing and coordinate the implementation of pricing changes to businesses.Work with team on high profile deliverables presented to senior leadership team. Includes presentations of financial trends and performance, and other company initiatives.Perform detailed review of financial variance reports and identify any operational or performance concerns and the underlying drivers.
