Position/Specialty: PICU RN - HOLIDAY CONTRACT! Shift: 4x12 Straight Nights OR Rotating Must be available to work 12/24 & 12/25 and 12/31 & 1/1 Any RTO changes requested after initial submission will be denied. Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2 Years of experience REQ: 2 years min. PICU experience working independently; exp in 20 bed PICU or larger required First-timers accepted: Y Weekend REQ: 6 weekends (not every other weekend) Is on-call REQ?: N Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Y; clinician will complete one orientation shift in the CICU to float during their assignment Open to accommodating block schedule? N Locals accepted: Y Pending License accepted: Y RTO Restrictions: RTO NEEDS TO BE INCLUDED ON THE INITIAL SUBMISSION OR IT WILL NOT BE APPROVED. No RTO during first 2 weeks due to orientation. Guaranteed Hours: Y Travelers are scheduled for 6 weekends, not every other weekend. If assignment is longer than 13 weeks, they will work more weekends. Our scheduling weeks are Monday – Sunday For night shift, we can schedule travelers for the night before their RTO starts Travelers rotate on our 6-week schedule, not every six weeks based in when they started The only shifts we can guarantee off are those that are pre-approved in contracts Travelers schedules are generated by the schedulers, they don’t self-schedule. No RTO during first 2 weeks due to orientation Potential for precepting Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Pediatric Magnet / Teaching / Level Trauma (if applicable): Teaching, Magnet, and Level I Trauma Total Staffed Beds: 407 Scrub Color: any color or T-shirt top (must be age appropriate and kid friendly) Charting: EPIC Parking Cost: Ranges from $2.25 - $11.50 depending on the shift and assignment lot. *Subject to change per Transportation Department Job Requirements
