Urology Physician

An established Hospital System in Rockland is currently seeking a licensed Urologist to join their growing team!

Responsibilities:

The Urologist will:

Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations; listen to and discuss patients' symptoms and concerns related to the urinary and reproductive systemsOrder and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood tests, urine tests, imaging studies (ultrasound, CT scans, MRI), and urodynamic studies to diagnose conditionsPrescribe medications to treat various urological conditions, such as urinary tract infections, kidney stones, and prostate issuesProvide counseling and education to patients about their conditions and treatment optionsDiagnose and treat cancers of the urinary tract and reproductive organsMonitor patients' progress post-treatment and make adjustments to the treatment plan as neededSchedule regular follow-up appointments to ensure ongoing health and address any concernsQualificationsLicensed to practice medicine in the State of New YorkBoard Eligible / Certified in Urology
