We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housing Manager to oversee the daily operations of our housing facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of property management, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to residents. This role requires proficiency in various property management software and a solid grasp of Fair Housing regulations. The Housing Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that our housing operations run smoothly while fostering a positive living environment for all residents.
Responsibilities
* Manage the day-to-day operations of housing facilities, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.* Oversee property leasing activities, including tenant screening, lease agreements, and move-in/move-out processes.* Maintain accurate records through data entry and management using software such as CMMS, OneSite, or Yardi.* Ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations and implement best practices in conflict management.* Address resident concerns and conflicts promptly and professionally to maintain a harmonious community atmosphere.* Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs and upkeep of properties.* Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure compliance with safety standards and legal requirements.* Provide administrative support related to legal matters concerning housing policies and tenant relations.* Prepare reports on occupancy rates, maintenance issues, and other relevant metrics for upper management.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in property management or a similar role is preferred.* Familiarity with property management software such as CMMS, OneSite, or Yardi is highly desirable.* Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.* Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and legal administrative processes.* Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to resolve disputes effectively.* Experience in property leasing processes is an advantage.* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.* Proficient in office software applications for reporting and documentation purposes.* A commitment to providing excellent customer service to residents.
