ABOUT OUR FINANCE DEPARTMENT
The Finance Department at BBB National Programs plays a vital role in supporting the organization's operations and mission. The Finance team is responsible for all the finance and accounting activities in the organization, managing cash flow, forecasts, day-to-day accounting, and generating financial statements following generally accepted accounting principles.
YOUR IMPACT
In this role you will support our Finance department with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsure invoices and related expenses are processed in accordance with organizational policies and observance of required deadlinesCommunicate and work with vendors to address issues and ensure compliance with contractual requirementsPrepare reconciliations (bank reconciliations, general ledger accounts, etc.)Process and record cash deposits dailyIdentify, communicate, and assist with various collections issuesAssist with the reconciliation of customer balancesProcess payroll and related benefits payments on biweekly basisAssist in annual audit and month-end close activitiesProvide support for organization tax filings (1099s, tangible returns, etc.)Assist with 401k census reportingAbility to take on ad hoc projects as needed and handle process improvementsWHAT YOU WILL BRING
Must have:
Bachelor's degree in related discipline (accounting, finance)Solid understanding of general accounting principlesComfortable working across multiple technology platforms that support accounting functionsAbility to work independently to identify and solve problemsAbility to work under time constraints and maintain composure in dynamic situationsComfortable working in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMeticulous attention to detailCommunicates effectively to wide variety of audiencesExcellent project and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesCOVID-19 VaccinationLet us know if you have:
