What is Cerity Partners University?
Looking to learn more about wealth management outside of an educational setting? Cerity Partners University (CPU) is the perfect program for you! CPU focuses on the growth and development of newly hired Wealth Management Associate's, which takes place in our dedicated training space in Louisville, KY. During the in-person training, you will learn the basics of working with clients, train on the Cerity Partners Way, and prepare you to test for the Series 65. Training will begin in July and last for 4 weeks with all travel and expenses covered by the firm. After training you will return to your local office to start your wealth management journey and make your mark!
Primary ResponsibilitiesAssist Wealth Management advisors with on-boarding of new clients: customize our standard contract with new client information, obtain all appropriate forms from custodian and work with each new client to ensure accurate completion, and coordinate submission with the custodian for processingServe as on-going liaison between advisors and custodian, managing account openings and maintenance paperworkSupport advisors by organizing and preparing needed meeting and marketing materials, quarterly reporting and other client mailingsOrganize and maintain client files and all key custodian documentsProvide assistance with "practice management" related data gathering, tracking and reportingProactively interact with clients and assist in creating a spectacular client experienceAssist with the timely completion and submission of all client related transaction requestsManage and administer the quarterly client reporting processOrganize and maintain the CRM system (Salesforce), reporting, and filing systemsAnalyze client's current financial health, help set short/long-term financial goals, and design a realistic plan of action for clientsPrepare and deliver financial plans using e-Money and other toolsEnthusiastically advocate the values, ethics, and unique approach our company takes to personal finance and financial planningOther duties as assignedBachelor's degree required0-2 years experience in financial services preferred, but not requiredTeam player who welcomes feedback with the goal of continuous improvementDetail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills, professional presentation, and organizational skillsAttitude that no task is too small and a willingness to do whatever tasks are necessary to make sure that the work is done on timeProficiency in technology/applications a must - experience with Addepar, eMoney, Salesforce and Excel preferred
