Summary/ObjectiveAs a member of the Stellar Energy Quality Team, the Electrical Quality Control Manager is responsible to work as part of Manufacturing Team to provide the quality supervision during design, procurement, fabrication and test activities on Stellar Energy projects. The major objective of the position is to lead and manage day-to-day quality activities to assure the Stellar Energy manufactured modules meet project delivery goals. The Electrical Quality Control Manager also responsible for maintaining the Stellar Energy Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure overall ISO compliance.

Essential FunctionsHarmonize and improve wiring manufacturing processes across all production facilitiesWork closely with electrical design engineering teams to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturabilityCoordinate pilot programs to test new manufacturing processes, equipment, or technologies, then drive adoption of successful initiativesProvide technical guidance, support, and quality assurance oversight for the Electrical Manufacturing teamCollaborate with operations and manufacturing teams to identify bottlenecks, implement process improvements, and align engineering and manufacturing goalsOffer hands-on technical support to production teams to quickly resolve issues and minimize downtimeRegularly inspect equipment and processes on the factory floor, following up as neededDevelop and maintain manufacturing guidelines for electrical processesPartner with cross-functional teams including quality assurance, new product development, and R&D to ensure smooth integration of design and manufacturingConduct root cause investigations and aid quality teamsTrack and report on key performance metrics related to process improvements, production efficiency, and design accuracyInvestigate customer complaints regarding quality and make appropriate corrections.Develop, improve, and review new specifications and procedures for products or processes, along with training staff.Ensuring legal obligations are followed and ensuring compliance with regulatory, with health and safety guidelines.Overseeing product development procedures to identify any deviations from quality standards.Inspecting final output, compare to requirements, and approve or reject final products.Formulate and maintain quality control objectives and coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other managers to maximize quality and reliability and to minimize costs.Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring work activities, such as preparation of records of statistical analysis, progress reports, etc., to inform management of status or work activities.Trains staff, evaluates employee performance, and recommends promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.Interprets/enforces company Quality Policy, process, and procedures to employeesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Work EnvironmentMost work is performed in an office environment. Support Manufacturing with necessary quality processes, which may require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and mandatory head protection.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand, as necessary. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must also be able to climb a ladder.

Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

TravelSome occasional local day travel may also be necessary.

Required Education and Experience

4-year college degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience optimizing electrical manufacturing processesAt least 2 years in a leadership role managing a team of manufacturing engineersKnowledge of quality system, process control, and control tool, etc.Knowledge with selection and technical requirement of general mechanical equipment including pumps, chillers, cooling towers, heat exchangers, etc.Preferred Education and Experience

4-year college degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience optimizing electrical manufacturing processes
