The effort includes the design, development, test, and integration of prototype open architecture radar processors and modes.
Core job functions include:1) Development of a prototype radar sensor manager to perform radar front-end interfacing, front-end scheduling, processor resource scheduling, command and control interfacing, mode management, and other generic processing services.2) Development of radar modes including SAR, Tracking, and GMTI.3) Development of front-end / back-end radar interfaces including command and control, and I/Q data acquisition
Required Skills:- A detailed understanding of the Air Force's Open Architecture model- Experience with current industry mode development kits and sensor managers- 5+ years of experience in both GMTI and SAR mode development using current industry mode development kits- Proficient in current industry standard communication and computation middleware solutions- Real-Time Software/Hardware- Software Documentation- C/C++ Programming- C++11 or later, Stand Template Library, Boost library- Embedded Software- Object Oriented Software Design and Development- Scripting Languages: Perl, Python, Shell Scripting, Powershell- Software Design/Development- Multithreaded and Multiprocessor Applications- Software Testing
Preferred Skills:- In depth knowledge of existing USAF ISR radar processors.
Clearance : Candidates must have an active Top Secret Clearance to be considered for this position.
Education and Experience:
Masters Degree or equivalent 15 years minimum experience in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent field.
