JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a licensed Respiratory Therapist who is seeking their next exciting opportunity in a complex and ever-evolving work environment! In this role, you will be responsible for assessment of patient/client needs for equipment and the selection, instruction, and troubleshooting of appropriate equipment and/or services provided to meet those needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Train and assist with overall daily operations of Respiratory Therapy including vents, intake, coverage, and quality assurance at existing and new locations. Receive and document the orders for equipment and/or services from the referral source, physician, patient/client, family member, or caregiver. Collect additional information and/or authorization as needed. Assess the needs of the patient/client and the best choice of equipment and/or services to meet the needs of the patients. Involve the patient/client and/or family, caregiver in the selection process. Instruct patients/clients in the proper use and care of equipment according to the written policies and procedures for that equipment. Communicate with the patient's/client's physician on changes in patient's condition and/or needs and carry out adjustment to the patient's/client's Plan of Care/Treatment. Rotate to various branches to support the business and patients, as business needs dictate. Track and maintain follow up on preventative maintenance and schedule visits for respiratory therapy equipment assigned to clients. Assist with scheduled visits of clients receiving oxygen therapy as needed. Complete patient/client accounts paperwork, including Plan of Care/Home assessments. Act as a liaison between the company and the patient/client, family, caregiver, physician, and other healthcare agencies and staff on the case. Conduct, participate and attend educational meetings and seminars for healthcare workers, patients/clients, families, care givers, physicians, and interested community members on areas of need. Assist with arrangement of necessary referral to community agencies or for those traveling, to assist in continuity of care. Develop and implement discharge plans for agency patients/clients. Assume full responsibility for actions, professional skills, and attitudes. Support the organization by being loyal and informing the branch manager of areas of concern and problems to be resolved. Keep cognizant of third-party reimbursement, criteria services, billing, patient/client paperwork and equipment offered. Must be willing to work after normal business hours and on weekends. Oversee all clinical functions that are performed by the company. Perform all job functions with Company Mission, Vision, and Goal Statements in mind. Flexible attitude and willingness to take on extra tasks as necessary. Miscellaneous duties as assigned. High degree of integrity. High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program. Respiratory care experience and/or home care experience in the field of respiratory care. Thorough knowledge and skills related to Home Medical Equipment field. Ability to effectively manage all respiratory products provided by the company. Ability to recognize the needs and concerns of people resulting in constructive working relationships. People-sensitive characteristics with a genuine desire to help others. Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent organizational, customer service, and time management skills. Ability to cater to diverse customer base. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and flexibility. Must be eligible to work in the United States. SCHEDULE
This is a full-time position that will require a 40-hour work week. Hours: Generally, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday-Friday. This position does have an on-call rotation. Overtime as needed.
