The ideal candidate will have a robust background in personal injury law, workers' compensation, liability, negligence, and damages. This role is for a seasoned attorney who thrives in an energetic and fast-paced work environment, and who is committed to delivering high-quality legal services to our clients. The Attorney will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload, including car accidents, wrongful death, trauma, injury claims, and medical malpractice. The Attorney will also be responsible for conducting legal research, providing legal advice, filing paperwork, and managing cases from inception through resolution. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive legal research and provide sound legal advice on a range of issues, including personal injury, workers' compensation, liability, and negligence. Represent clients in a variety of cases, including car accidents, wrongful death, trauma, injury claims, and medical malpractice. Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses. Conduct investigations and collect evidence to support claims and defenses. Negotiate settlements in a timely and favorable manner for our clients. Manage all aspects of case management, including client communication, case strategy, and case progress. Stay updated on current laws and regulations related to personal injury law, workers' compensation, liability, negligence, and damages. Represent clients in court during trials, if necessary.Qualifications: Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school. Must have a license to practice law in the state. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Attorney, specifically in the areas of personal injury, workers' compensation, liability, negligence, and damages. Proven experience in legal research, litigation, legal writing, and providing legal advice. Experience in handling cases related to car accidents, wrongful death, trauma, injury claims, and medical malpractice. Strong negotiation skills with experience in settlements. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. Must have a thorough understanding of the law, including the statute of limitations, damages, lost wages, pain and suffering, medical expenses, and emotional distress. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
