Assistant Human Resources Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:Assist with plant hiring, terminations, disciplines, payroll and records keepingMaintain the training programs, insurance policies, company benefitsBe able to handle all administrative actions in HR- i.e. Kronos, Payroll, Attendance policy/bonus, benefits, newsletter and other policiesMaintain company Vacations, daily reports, monthly reports, quarterly reportsManage other projects needed by Human Resource ManagerPresent write ups for attendance, tardiness and performance issues if necessaryEnsure compliance with Agency, State and Federal policies, procedures and regulationsProvide guidance/assistance to employees and supervisors on HR policiesConfidentiality and compliance with HIPPAKnowledge in our CBA and maintain a good working relationship with Union representative(s)Other duties as assignedThis is a safety sensitive position. This is an on-site position.
Qualified candidates for the Assistant Human Resources Manager Position should possess the following:Preferred bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, but not required3+ years of experience in HR, preferably in the food distribution or warehouse industryKnowledge of labor laws, safety regulations, and HR best practicesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point)and HR software (e.g., iCIMS, UKG, etc.)Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented food manufacturing or warehouse environmentBasic office and math skillsBilingual preferred but not requiredFamiliarity with National Beef Liberal facility and company policies preferredApplicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.
