UPP Global is a leader in parking management services, located in 8 states along the Eastern Seaboard. Our Hospitality Team is looking for Full and Part-Time 1st and 2nd shift Hotel Valet Drivers in Burlington, Vermont.
8 to 10 hour shifts1st and 2nd shiftEarn $17-$20/hr (combination of base hourly wage and tips)Must have weekend availability and a valid Drivers LicensePaid Time Off earned at 1 hour for every 30 hours workedComprehensive benefits package for all full-time employeesIdeal candidate will be responsible, reliable, and personable
JOB SUMMARY, RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
At UPP, Valet Parking Attendants play a vital role in the success of the company. They are the first person to greet and welcome our clients and customers, and the last person they’ll interact with upon departure. A pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor are of the utmost importance!
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guestsMaintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, parkers, co-workers, and clientsProvide exceptional hospitality services to all guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient mannerBe responsible for parking and retrieving guests vehicles in a prompt yet safe mannerAssist guests with bell service, directions, taxis, reservations, information about meeting rooms and/or amenities of the facility and other inquiries as neededAssist guests with luggage, including delivery and pick up of guest luggage during arrival and departureTransport guests via the hotel shuttle serviceExplain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrivalEffectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, parkers, co-workers, and clientsEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal lawsPerform other duties as assignedRequirements:Must be comfortable sitting, standing, walking, running, driving and being active for most of the dayMust provide excellent customer serviceMust have good hand-eye coordination, as driving is required for a duration of the shiftAbility to lift, push and pull at least 50 poundsMust possess a current drivers’ license and maintain a clean driving recordMust have a good work ethic and be a team playerMust maintained and groomed, professional appearanceMust be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle report (MVR) check
