Job Description:As a QA Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications. You will design and execute comprehensive testing plans, implement automated testing solutions, and work closely with development teams to enhance product performance and functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement test plans, cases, and scripts for functional and non-functional testing.Conduct testing and debugging of new and existing application software.Design, execute, and automate API tests using XUnit and manual tests with tools like Postman.Collaborate with developers and platform engineers to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.Identify, report, track, and prioritize defects while ensuring timely resolution.Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and efficiency.Develop and evolve comprehensive test plans for complex applications.Deconstruct solutions into optimized tests for coverage and risk management.Create high-reliability test automation aligned with product requirements.Extend test automation frameworks to support new functionalities.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar role.Expertise with .NET unit testing frameworks and API testing using .NET and C#.Proficiency in end-to-end functional UI automation using tools like Playwright.Experience with React framework, unit testing (React Testing Library, Jest), and front-end technologies (TypeScript/JavaScript, CSS, HTML).Knowledge of accessibility testing using tools such as Andi and Axe Dev Tools.Familiarity with cloud-native applications and AWS services, including AWS Lambda.Proficiency in database systems like PostgreSQL.Experience with version control systems like Git.Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and test automation frameworks.
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $23.00 to $35.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
