Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Assembler.
The hours for this role are 7:00am-3:30pm
The hourly rate for this position is $20/hour per hour.

What you’ll do:
PRIMARY FUNCTION
Perform assembly and/or test on products for aerospace industry
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Follow work orders, engineering drawings, and visual/written work instructions to safely and accurately assemble components.
• Use automated equipment, manual equipment, and hand tools to crimp, stake, bolt, rivet, solder, cement, press fit or perform similar operations to secure or join parts.
• Performs intermediate assembly tasks such as potting, epoxy bonding, curing, painting, etc.
• Assist in resolving production failures or product issues.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in product safety, quality, delivery, efficiency and communicate by posting interrupters on tier 1 board.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Work in a team environment that promotes continuos flow assembly
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED from accredited institution
• Minimum six (6) months assembly experience
• Must be able to use manual equipment, and hand tools to crimp, stake, bolt, rivet, solder, cement, press fit or perform similar operations to secure or join parts.
• Must reside within a 50 mile radius of this location (no relocation benefit)
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorfhip. US person within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a US person as a US Citizen, US Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee
Preferred Requirements
• Technical School / Apprenticeship
• Experience with electronic assembly
• Experience with soldering
• Experience with electronic testing and equipment including multimeters, dielectric machines, etc.
• Blueprint reading
