The core tasks of this role include:Acting as the primary point of contact for online systems used by the EPLS team membersManaging data at all points during the data cycle (gathering, entry, cleaning, retrieving, troubleshooting, reporting)Creating and administration of online surveys, timesheets, and logbooksSubmitting technical support tickets to IT, then providing documentation, and testing potential solutions with ongoing communicating to the EPLS team membersDistributing new functionality requests from EPLS team members to software vendorsManaging software access for all EPLS team membersEntering data into support the EPLS teamMinimum Education and Experience RequirementsCoursework or a major in an Information Technology field or related work experience in the information technology field related to the position's rolePreferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Experience with Banner systemsExperience troubleshooting technical issues.Experience recording of handling time-sensitive tasksExperience providing technical expertise to faculty, staff, and students for projects directly related to data collection.Experience creating charts and graphs for presentations in a visually appealing nature.Additional knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform the essential functions of the position:
Experience with data entryKnowledge of and experience with systems such as web-based systems and survey programsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel)Ability to analyze and prepare data requests.Detail oriented with the ability to seek out errors in large data sets.Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects while adhering to deadlines.Strong organizational, and communication skills, both oral and written.Required Certifications or LicensureN/APrimary Purpose of Organizational UnitThe primary purpose
