This is clinical work as a Radiologic Technologist in a Diagnostic Radiology department in a Level I trauma and teaching hospital. The work includes X-ray and Fluoroscopy imaging of inpatients, outpatients, and ED patients in fixed X-ray rooms, the OR, and with portables.Job Requirements

Number of Beds: 700 (covering the whole hospital)Equipment: Philips C90 Fixed X-ray, FUJI FDRGO Plus portables, Philips C-armsEMR: EPICPatient ratios: N/APersonality Fit: Positive and a self-starterMust Have Skills/Experience: Inpatient, Trauma, ED, Intensive Care, and OR imagingDress Code: Hospital scrubs required in the OR; Jeans, unprofessional screen printing unacceptableAdditional Details
As of the end of November our vacancy rate in X-ray is 23%.We recently had a resignation on nights.We expanded our staffing in the OR to support the MFT expansion and an additional Hybrid OR.Orthopedics has added another provider 5 days a week in the OR.The case mix is changing requiring more in room support from Rad Techs for surgical cases.We have recently installed the AiroCT which requires additional orientation time across all shifts.Increased staffing at SSC to cover expanding hours starting in October.
